With the generous support of Early Music Vancouver, the Collegium is part of the Baroque Orchestra Mentoring Programme (BOMP), which provides students with specialized coaching and mentorship from leading experts in Baroque performance practice.
About BOMP South
The UVic Collegium offers undergraduate and graduate students hands-on experience with historical repertoire and performance techniques. Under the mentorship of specialists such as Chloë Meyers (concertmaster, Pacific Baroque Orchestra) and Professor Joanna Hood, students explore Baroque style and interpretation through weekly rehearsals, performances, and collaborations with guest artists. Instruments are provided in partnership with Early Music Vancouver and the University of British Columbia.
