Enjoy Mozart’s playful and conversational “Kegelstatt” Trio, the lush lyricism of Brahms’ songs, and the evocative writing of Canadian composer Leila Lustig in “It was not all a Dream.” The concert also features Ukrainian art songs by Mykola Lysenko and Kyrylo Stetsenko—music of resilience and beauty that bridges tradition and history.
Performed by Joanna Hood (viola), Pamela Highbaugh Aloni (cello), Suzanne Snizek (flute), David Boutin-Bourque (clarinet), Marion Newman (mezzo-soprano), Benjamin Butterfield (tenor), and Arthur Rowe (piano).
