The Kasperl Quintet is a brass chamber ensemble consisting of five outstanding musicians ranging from ages 18-23. The members of the quintet met through the School of Music at the University of Victoria while pursuing a variety of post-secondary qualifications on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən people. The Kasperl Quintet became the product of shared passions, goals, and love for the art.

In addition to their professionally crafted sound, the Kasperl Quintet is known for their diverse and contemporary repertoire, performing works such as Travis Scott's "FE!N", Laufey's "From the Start", Jimmy Giuffre's "Four Brothers", T-SQUARE's "Takarajima" (宝島), Matt Maltese's "As the World Caves In", Anomalie's "Velours" and more.
The quintet’s mission is to remind young musicians that making music goes far beyond “art music” and the B-flat scale - that the traditional boundaries of music-making and performance can be stretched, torn apart, thawed, microwaved, deep-fried, and reimagined.
