In 1980, Terry Fox started his Marathon of Hope. That same year, the Royal Victoria Marathon had its inaugural event. Darrell Fox was on that historic Marathon of Hope with his brother and has continued to keep the dream strong, raising millions of dollars over the last 45 year for cancer research. He will be joining the event as the keynote speaker for the Fuel Up Buffet Dinner & Celebration on Saturday, October 11 at the Grand Pacific Hotel. Darrell will share his brother Terry’s motivation and strength, and will provide insights into his remarkable journey that will inspire you and get you race ready. Our emcee for the event will be Steve King. Doors open at 5:45 and dinner at 6:30 pm.
