“On the ruins of a world lost, they learn to love and believe again.” Resonance Theatre invites you to the production “Enemies: A Love Story,” based on the novel by Nobel Prize laureate Isaac Bashevis Singer and adapted by Israeli playwright Roy Chen. This is a touching story about love, faith, and the strength of the human spirit, told through the lives of people who survived the Holocaust. Herman — a Polish Jew who lived through the catastrophe — is now in New York in the late 1940s, trying to build a new life.
