About Loud in the Pines:
Loud in the Pines is an Edmonton-based folk duo delivering heartfelt songs with captivating stories. With a penchant for unexpected harmony and intricate guitar, Kelin Flanagan and Spencer Taubner draw on their cross-genre backgrounds to create a warm and authentic indie-folk sound. Alongside their longtime collaborator, the talented multi-instrumentalist Jarred Albright, Loud in the Pines lifts you up and asks you to remember the things that connect us all.
Loud in the Pines released their first full-length record, Every Colour Left, in May 2025. Produced by JUNO-winner Ben Plotnick (The Fretless, Oliver the Crow), it explores stories of place and community in soaring full-band arrangements, and is nominated for a 2026 Canadian Folk Music Award.
Sound production equipment for the King Eddy provided by PK Sound.
