NOTE: THIS IS THE DJ SHOWCASE, NOT THE WORKSHOP. DJ Boitano is taking over The Open Studios for a boiler-room style DJ showcase. Expect wild blends of house, hip-hop, alt-rock throwbacks, and guilty-pleasure bangers, flipped live with scratching, mashups, and on-the-fly transitions. The decks are on the floor, the crowd wraps around the booth, and you can even walk behind the tables to watch the master at work. Come to dance, watch, and yell “WHAT DID HE JUST DO?!” Backing him up are Youth Openers featuring DJ Lion, whose junglist vibes lit up Victoria Ska & Reggae Fest, Rifflandia, and Pachena Bay Music Festival.
