The Toronto based artist has delivered one head-scratching, hypnotic and heavenly project after another, including 'Hotel Allan', 'Roadhouse 01', and the unforgettable 'CHRISTIAN'. Along the way, he generated over 250 million streams, sold out tours in Europe, USA and Canada, and shined at festivals, including Reading & Leeds, Bonnaroo, Rifflandia and Lollapalooza, and has collaborated with the likes of Jessie Reyez, Alex da Kid and James Vincent McMorrow. His most recent album ‘#1 Girl” is a group of “demos" fictionally written and recorded by #1 Girl, whom we first meet during the intro of The All Allan Hour. Set in the year of 1994, Allan writes the album from her perspective and sings in her tone of voice to the best of his ability, delivering us a sonic departure of the familiar Allan Rayman we’ve come to know. 19
