Step into a powerful cultural and spiritual experience guided by Nda Chi, a Cameroonian spiritual artist, musician, and cultural knowledge bearer. This immersive workshop offers participants a meaningful introduction to the foundations of African spirituality, particularly within Bamileke traditions.
Across many African cultures, spirituality is not separate from daily life—it is woven into music, rhythm, dance, nature, community, and ancestral connection. Through storytelling, rhythm, and movement, Nda Chi will guide participants in exploring how ancestral wisdom, animist beliefs, and sacred rhythms have shaped African societies for centuries.
Participants will learn about the roles of ancestral rhythms and spiritual symbolism, and about the relationship between humans, nature, and the ancestral world. The workshop also introduces traditional perspectives on energy, balance, community healing, and respect for the unseen forces that guide life.
This session is not a religious practice but a cultural and educational journey designed to deepen understanding of African heritage and spiritual philosophies.
During the workshop, participants will experience:
• An introduction to African spiritual worldviews and Bantu traditions
• The meaning and symbolism of ancestral rhythms and ritual movements
• Storytelling about initiation, ancestral memory, and spiritual identity
• Guided rhythmic and movement exercises rooted in traditional practices
• An open discussion and meet-and-greet with Nda Chi
This workshop invites participants to reconnect with the wisdom of the ancestors, explore the spiritual dimensions of African culture, and experience rhythm as a language of memory, identity, and community.
Facilitator: Nda Chi (Cameroon)
Spiritual artist, musician, dancer, and cultural ambassador known for blending ancestral knowledge with contemporary artistic expression.
Who should attend:
Artists, dancers, healers, cultural enthusiasts, educators, and anyone interested in African traditions, spirituality, and cultural heritage.
Come with curiosity, respect, and an open heart as we explore the deep roots of African spirituality together.
