Event Description
Join storyteller, writer, and musician and longtime Intrepid friend Ivan Coyote for a one-night-only and very special fundraiser, as they take to The Metro stage for one final evening of stories, laughs, and maybe a “crylaugh,” because sometimes we all just need a good crylaugh. Ivan will share excerpts from past shows brought to The Metro (including Playlist and Tomboy Survival Guide), and if you’re really good, maybe they’ll treat you to a brand new story or two.
About the artist: Ivan Coyote is the author of 13 books, the creator of three films, two albums that combine storytelling and music, and nine full-length multimedia stage productions. Coyote’s books have won the BC Book Prize Jim Deva Award for Writing That Provokes, the Stonewall Honor Book Award, and been short-listed for the Hilary Weston Prize for non-fiction and the Governor General Award twice. Coyote lives in Whitehorse, Yukon.
