Hear ye, hear ye! Save the date! This year we are celebrating and reflecting on the Middle Ages. Join us for a day of recreation and re-creation, bringing together falconry, different kinds of medievalism, medieval-style technologies, clothing, art and literature. We will have opportunities to have some hands-on experience with calligraphy, embroidery, book binding and more. Engage with other passionate medievalists, learn a skill and celebrate the day with us! The event will be anchored by our Lansdowne speaker, Dr. Andrea Myers Achi (Metropolitan Museum of Art), who will be speaking about the legacy of Byzantium, the long-lasting medieval empire.
