With Lesbian Lumberjack Nicole Coenen Part of our Know How Sessions for Gender Queer Folx and Women. Participants will learn about different types of axes, local wood species, safe splitting techniques, tool maintenance, and foundational sharpening skills. The workshop includes a live wood-splitting demo, hands-on practice with coaching from Nicole, and brunch from North Perk Cafe. Whether you're completely new to axes or looking to deepen an existing practice, this is a rare chance to learn practical wood knowledge in a supportive community environment. Nicole will also have books, hats, and hatchets available for purchase and signing onsite.
