UVic string students perform solo sonatas, partitas and suites by Johann Sebastian Bach. Bach’s solo string works are considered some of the finest examples of any music composed. Known for their technical challenges and musical sophistication, their timeless melodies, heart-felt harmonies, and complex counterpoint continue to intrigue and inspire performers and listeners alike.
