Looking to feel comfortable on the dance floor at weddings, parties, or social events? This 3-week Beginner Night Club Waltz / Slow Dancing workshop (Part 1) is designed to give you the confidence to move naturally with a partner — even if you’ve never danced before.
Night Club Waltz (often thought of as “slow dancing”) is smooth, relaxed, and incredibly versatile. It works beautifully with a wide range of music — from classic ballads to modern love songs — making it one of the most practical dances to know.
Over these 3 weeks, we’ll focus on:
Simple, easy-to-learn steps you can use right away
Leading and following basics for a comfortable connection
Timing and musicality so you can actually dance to the music
Smooth movement and turns to build confidence on the floor
No partner or experience required — rotating partners is encouraged, but you may stay with your partner if you are more comfortable that way. Changing partners helps to create a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone.
