The night before the Highland Games, we open the gates—and not quietly. A hidden Saanich property turns feral and luminous: barns lit with firelight, music moving through the courtyard, bodies dressed like they remember something older than rules. This is Beltane—threshold, heat, aliveness—pulled forward and made ours. Wander, watch, make, flirt with the edges. At dusk, we gather; after that, the night takes what it wants.
