Board Leadership Calgary is excited to announce we are back to hosting our in-person one-day learning event for non-profit leaders in the community. Topics & Learning Opportunities This years event will provide a broad overview of topics and learning opportunities to support you and your learning journey. There will be a mixture of workshops, supported discussions, networking opportunities and expertise from professionals in the sector. Topics this year (subject to change): • Board governance basics: Liability and legal fundamentals, governance structures, strategic planning, board and staff relationships • Funding & fundraising • Volunteerism - recruitment and engagement • Leadership and problem-solving • Innovation: Social innovation tools, digital transformation and AI • Non-profit marketing and social media Registration for Workshops - Coming soon We are confirming speakers and workshop time. After you register, expect an e-mail to sign up for workshops when we finalize the schedule for the day. Costs Early Bird Pricing: $65 (includes fees and taxes) After March 30: $80 Prices include lunch and refreshments.
