Emmy has graciously figured out how to borrow Blood on the Clocktower, so we're going to run a session to try things out! Be warned, this will be my first time storytelling (I've played before), so there will likely be kinks that need to be ironed out. Blood on the Clocktower is one of the more recent hot additions to the social deduction game scene. It addresses some of the weaknesses in Mafia by ensuring that no one is ever truly out. If you’re killed, you stay at the circle, keep talking, and even get one final "ghost vote" to help your team. This keeps everyone at the table and involved until the very end. Another huge shift is that everyone has a unique power. There are no "plain" villagers here; whether you’re a helpful Townfolk or a troubled Outsider, you have a specific ability that matters. This removes the "I'm just a villager" boredom and makes every person a vital piece of the puzzle. We’ll go over the rules at the start, so just show up and get ready to lie to your friends.
