For over 25 years, Victoria's Canadian Beauty has been keeping the Dead alive with their spirited performances. Expect lots of group improvisation, folky roots-country, harmony singing and dance floor favourites. As always, there's a different setlist for every show! Canadian Beauty's first ever Grateful Dead tribute show was in 1999 at Thursday's Pub, later known as Logan's. Over the years tributes to Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Band, The Allman Brothers Band and Gram Parsons have appeared. Canadian Beauty and all their variations endeavour to make the music they play their own. As skilled improvisors, they'd rather put their personal stamp on the songs than perform note-for-note renditions.
