CHURCH is an all-queer cabaret with a focus on Drag, with occasional acts in the genres of Improv, Stand Up, Clown, Skits, Burlesque, Draglesque, Puppetry and more. CHURCH is a 19+ event, shows happen at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm with time to mingle, meet, and flirt in between. Every show is unique, diverse and highly entertaining. This event has no cover charge although we encourage patrons to tip the performance artists as well as the servers at the venue. CHURCH takes place at the Vicious Poodle downtown Victoria close to major bus routes, the pub has a 2" sill at the main entry and has an accessible washroom, both washrooms are not gender-specific. There is no religious affiliation attached to this show, the name CHURCH comes from this event's predecessor which used to happen on a Sunday night colloquially referred to as church by regular attendees.
