Event Description
A one-of-a-kind creative holistic jam for BIPOC folks: tea, dance, art, poetry, drumming, movement, yoga, somatics & sound healing.
A gentle note: This gathering is intended as a space for BIPOC attendees only (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour). We appreciate everyone respecting the intention of this community-centered event as we aim to create an intentional and supportive space for collective healing, creative expression, and connection within the BIPOC community. We appreciate your understanding.
Elemental Alchemy is a creative holistic jam created for BIPOC Art and Wellness - a nourishing space to remember our roots through sound, art, movement, somatics, rhythm, and community.
Experience:
Breathwork by Steph
Tea Alchemy by Marianne
Creative exploration by Sophia with live therapeutic sound by Gabriel
Guided Movement by Izo
Improv dance and music performance by Izo and JD Muco
Soundbath and Restorative Yoga Integration with live sound healing by Desirée Dawson and Corus
Closing Singing circle by Desirée Dawson
This intentional gathering invites you to slow down and tune in, supported with the co-creative space held by local creative alchemists. There will be a creative alter set up in the space, feel free to bring any items to charge the space.
This space honours the ancestral wisdom we carry and the medicine we create when we gather.
✨ Please bring a yoga mat ✨ Optional: bring an instrument, journal, or offering for the artist altar
Let’s root into rhythm, rise into resonance, and remember - we are sound, we are spirit, we are sacred.
