Maya Jade is an emerging Jamaican-Canadian artist based in Vancouver, BC. She developed a passion for singing at a young age as she gravitated towards music classes and camps, choir, and learning how to play the piano. Maya naturally shifted towards creating her own music with the help of her brother, who produces many of her songs. Maya’s calming and sultry delivery and her R&B and pop sound is inspired by artists like Sade, Cleo Sol and Jorja Smith. With a new EP on the way, Maya Jade is ready to further establish herself in the Vancouver R&B scene.
