April's topic: Earth Month & Greenwashed Guilt

How do you avoid the trap of greenwashing stealing your valuable attention this Earth Month? Your care for the environment shouldn't be wielded against you, it should bring us together! Let's talk about our experiences as eco conscious folks during this time of the year.

Earth month is always a complicated feeling time of year for me; I personally work really hard to live everyday like it's Earth Day. So I often find the time of year when everyone else is specifically tuned in creeps up on me and then is gone. Let's linger in the impact that has on those of us who hold this cause dear year round.

When: 6:00 pm (doors open at 5:45)
Where: Studio 846 (846 Broughton Street -- accessible main floor)
Who: Everyone welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: Free/by-donation (no rsvp required)
Other: Some snacks and drinks provided, contributions welcome.
