What we’ll do:
This is an invitation to Slow and Steady members to join us on
5-7 km Thursday evening Fish Creek Walk. The walk will start at 6:15 to facilitate members after work transportation. We will wait up to 5 minutes at the meet up location in case you get stuck in traffic.
Please note that we all walk at different paces, however we strive to stay together and enjoy each others company. We will walk at a slow to medium pace, and will stop for the occasional "Kodak" moment.
Summary:
Event host will pick the route/meetup location each week dependent on weather and trail conditions so please watch the posting!
In the spring we walk along the Bow river at Mallard Point.
Distance: approx. 5-8 km on asphalt or dirt trails

Elevation Gain: minimal
Pace: Relaxed beginner/Intermediate level
What to bring:
good walking / trekking shoes are a must
city ice spikes are important to have in winter
Headlamp in winter
appropriate layers for the temperature, and snacks if you wish
