I Fell in Love With Moby Dick
“Why is almost every robust healthy boy with a robust healthy soul at one point or other crazy to go to sea?”
I Fell in Love With Moby Dick follows a young woman, Michelle as she returns to her small and superstitious island home in northern British Columbia. Told by her at three ages, we see how her life begins, what drives her away and what pulls her back. Shaped by queer love, loss, and the sea I Fell in Love With Moby Dick is a familiar story of searching for home.

Homecoming
“I wonder if he’s changed, y’know?”
Homecoming follows Cyrus, a man in his late twenties as he returns to his rural Albertan hometown with his long-time partner for Thanksgiving, after years of estrangement from his family. As Cyrus’ partner meets his long-suffering sister, his no-filter brother, his outspoken in-law, and their acerbic mother, a sinister truth about Cyrus and their relationship begins to surface. A play about making a better future and falling back into the past, Homecoming asks the question: Have you ever left your old self behind?
Featuring:
Ben Scoones as Cyrus
Kaelan Bain as Dimitri
Liam Devlin as Malachi
Alejandra Cruz Miron as Aaliyah
Maya Kara as Ana (Sunday shows)
Devon Side Walker as Ana (Saturday shows)
Tamara de Hernandez as Janet
Stage Management and Lighting Design by fosse chang
Production Design by Corina Fisher
Original Sound Design by Savannah O’Heany
*Sensory and content warnings:
