Forage For Your Dinner: Foraging Plant Walk followed by Dinner with Chef Tom Kral and Chef Parker
Join Nature's Chef Tom Kral for a day of connecting with nature and the foods that come from it, followed by a mouth-watering dinner making use of the foraged ingredients at the beautiful Courtney Room. The partnership of Chef Kral with Chef Graeme Parker of the Courtney Room will be sure to produce a meticulously crafted feast that celebrates Victoria's local nature and reveals the health benefits of edible ingredients found in the local area.
In the morning guests will meet at the Capital City Station for a bus ride to Madrona Farm in Saanich where they will meet Chef Kral (aka Nature's Chef). Chef Kral will lead the foraging walk and share his favourite things to forage including how to introduce them to your diet, while greatly improving your health & wellness and strengthening our relationship to this Earth. Upon returning to the Capital City Station, guests will have a few hours to explore downtown. Later that day, guests will gather once again, this time at the Courtney Room to enjoy a unique culinary experience incorporating the foraged ingredients into a delicious meal.
9:00 am - Meet at the Capital City Bus Terminal for transportation to Madrona Farm
10:00 am - 1:00 pm - Foraging walk at Madrona Farm
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Return to the Capital City Terminal
6:00 pm - Dinner at The Courtney Room
