A concert of bold new works by UVic student composers that spans acoustic, electronic and hybrid forms. Expect unexpected sounds! This performance is part of the School of Music’s Sounding Grounds festival — a three-day gathering (Jan 30–Feb 1) that serves as a meeting place for UVic’s most adventurous creators. Bringing together student and faculty composers, improvisers, instrument builders, thinkers, and listeners, Sounding Grounds invites audiences to experience the vibrant and continually shifting landscape of contemporary sound. Admission by donation
