By examining the function of dialogue in dramatic storytelling and considering the actor’s approach to interpreting the text, writers will be able to approach their dialogue writing and revisions with renewed playful confidence. Things to bring: Notebook Pen Water bottle (optional) Personal writing talisman or charm (optional) About the facilitator: Kevin Kerr is an award-winning playwright, theatre maker and educator who has been creating works of theatre for nearly 30 years. Kevin has created more than 20 full-length plays through a wide variety of processes and in an eclectic range of styles, genres and forms. He currently teaches playwriting at the University of Victoria’s Department of Writing.
