Goldstream Hatchery would like to involve the community in releasing coho salmon into the Goldstream River. These smolts have been raised at the hatchery over the past 18 months and are now ready to migrate into the open ocean. Participants will be given fish in a bucket to release, and experts will be on hand to answer questions about the hatchery and the importance of the salmon to our ecosystem.
