Celebrate Hanami with us as we welcome the return of the cherry blossoms with traditional foods, fun artists, photos, crafts, dress up, K- pop karaoke and yummy treats made for this very special day. Hanami is a fun filled day with traditional foods, brilliant artists, games and workshops. Explore an array of unique designers inspired by the first bursts of pink cherry blossoms of spring. Dress up and take photos with J-Fashion spirits, while singing to Kpop Karaoke with local stars. This is a one day extravaganza to explore subcultures we adore in this art community. Kids 12 and under are FREE Adults $4 TAP or CASH The Fernwood Community Centre is accessible with a ramp inside (no elevator) & 3 accessible washrooms The Fernwood Community Centre is wheel chair accessible at the main entrance off the street at 1240 Gladstone Ave. Through the main doorways there is a bit of a bump with the door frame 1’ high, there are 3’ - 6’ wide doorways to each room with a 4’ wide ramp leading down to the gym. The centre is 70% fluorescent lighting and 30% natural light. There are 3 accessible washrooms, 2 upper level and 1 ground level.
