Event Description
Spend a lovely morning playing with flowers at our wonderful Arts Centre by the sea!
In this fun, beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to put together a sweet & simple posey that fits perfectly in a Mason jar for you to take home and enjoy.
You will pick up a few tricks of the trade such as the types of flowers & greenery to buy, how to process the flowers, and the most visually pleasing way to arrange the blooms to create a lovely hand-tied bouquet.
After this workshop, you'll be ready to make your own special posey for Mother's Day the following week on Sunday, May 10th! Or better yet, buy two tickets and bring mom along for a fun playdate you will both enjoy! :)
No experience necessary.
SUPPLY FEE
All materials will be provided, including fresh-cut flowers and a Mason jar for you to take your posey home in, for a
cash fee of $20
, but if you happen to have these items lying about, please bring them with you to class:
garden clippers
(aka shears/pruners/snips, NOT scissors)
a small box with paper
to keep your Mason jar in place for your drive home
wear
comfortable clothing or bring an apron
to protect your clothes from stains
wear
comfortable shoes
as we will be standing for most of the class (we can set up chairs if needed, but it's a little awkward to arrange flowers sitting down)
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
