Join Sarah-Jane McAuley and Neill Vanhinsberg for a walk around the park checking the pond, wooded area and gardens for early spring migrants and resident birds. The walk will start at 9 AM and last approximately 2+ hours. This is an easy walk on mostly level ground with a few small hills. Trails are either paved or hard packed. There will be a limited number of binoculars to lend out if you don’t have a pair. Our emphasis will be on finding and identifying birds from a beginner’s perspective then, observing their behaviours. Questions are encouraged!
