Experience BC’s top chefs, live jazz, and unforgettable flavours, one night only at Fairmont Pacific Rim in support of Culinary Team Canada.
Hot Chefs & Cool Jazz 2026 returns to the Fairmont Pacific Rim on Friday, April 10, 2026 in support of Culinary Team Canada and our journey to the 2026 Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg .
This year, 100 chefs are cooking in support of Team Canada - coming together for one unforgettable night of live stations, premium pairings, and celebration of Canadian culinary excellence.
What to expect
• Chef-attended cooking stations: Enjoy live culinary stations featuring exclusive, event-only creations prepared right in front of you.
• Premium wine pairings: Thoughtfully paired wines throughout the evening.
• Live jazz: Featuring the return of the Miles Black Quartet, led by Vancouver-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Miles Black.
• Master of Ceremonies: Hosted by Dawn Chubai.
• Meet Culinary Team Canada: Connect with the team members as they train toward Luxembourg 2026 and the road to the 2028 Culinary Olympics in Germany.
Gala Host: Chef Damon Campbell
Chef Damon Campbell brings an exceptional competition legacy to the evening. As former Team Captain of Culinary Team Canada (2005–2006), he led the team to gold medal victories at the World Culinary Olympics and additional national medal wins throughout his career.
All proceeds directly support Culinary Team Canada’s training, development, and international competition preparation.
