Champions of Hope Vol. 8: Heavy Sounds for a Vital Cause Join us on February 27th at The Mezzanine (33 West 8th Street) for the eighth installment of Champions of Hope. This volume is leaning into the heavier side of the scene, bringing together some of Vancouver’s best punk and alt-rock talent for a night of high-energy music and community support. THE LINEUP: Autonomous Apes: Our headliners bringing that signature gritty, high-octane punk sound. Muppet Boys: Delivering raw garage-punk energy in the middle slot. Love Lucille: Setting the tone for the night with an opening set you don't want to miss. BEYOND THE MUSIC: We believe in the power of the local scene to create real change. 25% of all funds from this event will go directly to the Carnegie Housing Project. This organization is a fierce advocate for the residents of the Downtown Eastside, working tirelessly to secure social housing, improve living conditions, and fight for the rights of the most vulnerable members of our community.
