Improv for mental health is a playful pause for your mind.
Let’s play, laugh, connect, and breathe together.
This 2hours session in a smaller group setting is all about boosting your mental wellbeing through the joy of play and improv – no stage experience needed!
You’ll explore fun, low-pressure improv games that help reduce stress, increase connection, and bring you back to the present moment.

Saturday, April 25th from 4 PM - 6 PM.
Location: La Maison de la Francophonie (Event will be in English)
Room 228 - 1555 W 7th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J 1S2.
Accessibility information:
This room is located on the second floor of the building. The building is wheelchair accessible from the street, there is an elevator to access the room.
There are gendered bathrooms available on the first and second floor.

Who is organizing this?
Hi!!! We are Elaine, Caro and Ingrid ! A group of friends who have been improvising together for several years, and we want to share the benefits of play and improv with our communities!
Ingrid is the founder of Griottes Polyglottes, a not-for-profit organization that aims to drive social change through play.

This is not a therapy session – but it can be deeply therapeutic. We’re not analyzing, diagnosing, or fixing. We’re simply playing, feeling, and connecting.
🌈 This is an inclusive space, with room for all intersecting identities.
Come as you are. No need to “be funny.” Just bring your curiosity and willingness to try.
Harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated.
