Want to design your own functional 3D printed parts, tools, or prototypes? This beginner-friendly class is an introduction to parametric CAD design using Fusion 360 — one of the most widely used tools for 3D modeling and digital fabrication.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of navigating Fusion 360, creating sketches, building simple 3D models, and preparing files for 3D printing.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have designed your own simple object and gained the foundational skills needed to continue exploring 3D modeling on your own.
No prior CAD experience required. We have computers available to use during the class, but participants are also welcome to bring their own laptop with the free personal-use version of Fusion 360 installed.
