Are you struggling with figuring out realistic tree colors? Do you want to improve your tree-painting skills ? This workshop is for you! Take your tree painting technique to the next level with this unique workshop! During the workshop, we will go over several principles and techniques for painting trees and foliage : • basic tree shape principles • how to simplify foliage and tree crowns • mark-making as it relates to foliage • lights and shadows or how to make your tree look 3-dimensional • realistic trunk and foliage colours We will be doing several small studies to practice the above principles as well as a more finished painting at the end. This workshop is for artists of all levels and no prior experience is required. You can use either acrylic, oil (no solvents) or watercolour paint. Pastels are not allowed in this workshop.
