A new IRL + livestreamed event series showcasing Vancouver's hottest queer DJs. Hey Vancouver—Livewire is here. We’ve lined up three of the city’s hottest queer DJs from across the underground scene. Each DJ gets one hour on our decks to move you with the sickest sounds that are lighting up Vancouver's dance floors. Come early (10-11PM) to see our opening acts. We’ve chosen some of the city’s freshest talents to warm up the Livewire decks early in the night. This is their time to try something unexpected, so don’t miss out on their unique and experimental 20 minute sets. LIVESTREAM Come dressed for the underground. DJ LINE UP ALYSSAJB ALYSSAJB is an Indigenous and queer DJ based in Vancouver, renowned for her high-energy, rhythm-driven club sets designed for the dance floor. Her music blends Jersey Club, Ghetto Tech, Baltimore Club, and Brazilian Funk, connecting sounds from the global underground scene with direct, high-impact selections. Known for her fast-paced, physical, and dynamic sets, ALYSSAJB has built a strong presence on the Vancouver club scene, consistently selling out her own events. Her work as a DJ and event curator positions her as an emerging artist leading to an invitation to perform at FVDED In The Park 2026 in July. KAY HO LING Kay Ho Ling is the DJ-volution of multifaceted event producer and iconic Vietnamese drag mother, Shay Dior. Having produced and performed at multiple sold out events, they already understood how to get a crowd going so they crashed onto this scene with hot and sweaty DJ sets that hit like a bottle of rush: Euphoric, high-octane, and nasty! You’ll hear melodies and beats of baile funk, tech house, hyper pop, jersey club, and electro hop remixes, sprinkled with club favourites throughout time. Known for dynamic sounds that take over on the dance floor, Kay Ho Ling’s music transports you through an out of body experience, so strap in because they love their beats fast and their bass down low! EtOH EtOH is a "Vancouver" based DJ with an eclectic style and a passion for hard hitting music. He is the host of MASHKAWOW (Michif: “It is hard/strong”), a monthly hard dance radio show on Bside Radio. Playing across genres including techno, hardcore, club, trance, & more, EtOH is constantly presenting a fresh sound and take when mixing tracks new and old. EtOH has played for a variety of parties including (Avec) Courage, Normie Corp, FVDED In The Park, VANTEK, BDrive, DOLLY, Happy Hour, Mint, Public Disco, Restricted Entertainment, Rewind, & NOISE COMPLAINT. He has shared stages with a multitude of international and local acts, such as Minna-no-kimochi, umru, GRRL, Suzi Analogue, Stella Bossi, Fish56Octagon, Partiboi69, & ANGEL CANNON.
