Hi everyone! Scheduling another Mafia session. Jeff has graciously offered his apartment's lounge room for the event, so we'll be hosting this one in Richmond this time around. Address to come out later. The Setup: A secret group of Mafia is hiding among a larger group of Innocent Townspeople. The Mafia knows who their teammates are; the Town is entirely in the dark. - The Goal (Town): Identify and vote out all Mafia members. - The Goal (Mafia): Secretly eliminate the Town until the Mafia has the majority. How it Works - The Night: Everyone closes their eyes. The Mafia wakes up to choose a target in secret. Special roles (like the Doctor or Detective) wake up to help the Town. - The Day: The group wakes up to find someone has been "eliminated." You’ll then have a set amount of time to discuss, accuse, and vote to exile one person you suspect is Mafia. Why Join? - Beginner Friendly: No experience? No problem. We’ll explain the rules and do a short example round at the start. If you can tell a white lie (or spot one) you’re already an expert. - Social Chaos: Playing with 20+ people creates a unique energy where theories fly fast and alliances shift every round. - Low Pressure: With a group this size, it’s easy to stay under the radar or jump into the center of the debate.
