Meetup Meetup is a meetup for people who run meetups. If you organize a meetup or are thinking seriously about starting one, come join us for an evening of conversation, idea-sharing, and connection with other organizers. The theme for this session is “What makes a great event?” Come ready to share what’s worked for you, what hasn’t, or questions you’re still figuring out. The goal is to trade real, practical lessons that help make our events more memorable and valuable for attendees. We’ll start with some breakout discussions, then shift into a more relaxed social portion. During the event, you’ll also have a chance to pitch discussion topics you care about. Those pitches will help shape the conversations in the second half of the evening. Please plan to arrive between 5:45 and 6:15 p.m. so we can get started on time. We’ll wrap up around 9:00 p.m. ​The event will occur at 206 Cambie St, a space graciously provided by Launch Academy and Global Relay. The main entrance is on the corner of Cambie St. and Water St.; a secondary entrance with a ramp is next door at 220 Cambie St. ​We'll have some light snacks available. Since the event is around dinnertime, you're welcome to bring your own food. Please bring a water bottle or a drink to stay hydrated! There is no water refill station at the event, except for a sink in the bathroom. ​We hope to see you all there!
