Join us for a creative evening of art, community, and ocean-inspired reflection to celebrate World Ocean Week! Join us and Surfrider Vancouver Island in celebrating World Ocean Week by creating handmade postcards using fabric scraps and secondhand materials and through collage, drawing, and painting, we’ll explore how creativity and reuse can inspire more thoughtful relationships with the things we consume and the ecosystems we impact. No artistic experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. You’re also welcome to bring your own materials, magazines, textiles, or creative supplies. This is a by-donation event, with contributions accepted on the day. Funds raised will support Surfrider South Vancouver Island and their work protecting our coastlines.
