OK, DOPE presents a workshop with Ryan Kniel Learn Ryan’s techniques for tasking and environment—using physical action and space to ground scenes and bring your improv to life. Through playful exercises and scenes, you’ll add practical tools to make your improv more active, clear, and fun. March 21 | 2–4 PM OK, DOPE HQ – 734 Aldebury St About Ryan: Improvising since 2016, Ryan has been an active part of the improv and theatre community in Victoria for years. He acted as the president and a coaching member of the Vikes Improv club at UVic from 2020-22, and has since performed and collaborated with Snap! Theatre, Paper Street Theatre, OK, DOPE, Enigmatic Events, and the Panic Squad. His BFA in theatre gives him a background in story-centred performance and a grounded stage presence, which he delights in blending with the spontaneous humour of improv. Ryan has also self-produced a one-man improvised western, TOO BAD, at the Intrepid studio theatre.
