Join us for a meaningful two-day On-Purpose Parenting event as we welcome Walt Mueller from the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (CPYU). Together, we will seek God’s wisdom and practical guidance for raising children and teenagers with faith, discernment, and purpose. Throughout the event, Walt will help parents better understand the cultural influences shaping today’s young people and offer practical, biblically grounded strategies to guide and support them. Topics We’ll Explore • Identity & Self-Worth – Helping kids understand who they are in Christ in a culture that constantly pressures them to define themselves through appearance, performance, popularity, and social media. • Technology & Digital Culture – Navigating smartphones, social media, gaming, and screen time while teaching wisdom, healthy habits, and digital discernment. • Mental Health & Anxiety – Understanding the rising levels of anxiety, stress, and pressure young people face today and learning how parents can respond with compassion, support, and faith. • Relationships & Peer Influence – Guiding kids as they build friendships, navigate social dynamics, and develop healthy boundaries. • Faith Formation in a Changing Culture – Helping children develop a resilient, authentic faith that can stand strong amid cultural confusion and competing worldviews. • Practical Parenting Strategies – Tools for communication, discipline, mentoring, and creating a home environment where faith and character can grow. This event is designed to encourage, equip, and connect parents as they pursue intentional, Christ-centered parenting together.
