Event Description
How do design choices create joy and dignity for people at every age?
This conversation brings together three design practitioners working with preschoolers, teenagers, and older adults to explore how inclusive design approaches centre around users.
Through real projects and practical examples, our speakers show how end-user engagement, community-specific processes, and thoughtful product selection shape environments where people feel seen, supported, and able to thrive. Together, they’ll unpack practices that honour the diversity of community needs, resist one-size-fits-all approaches, and create environments that act as a blank canvas, allowing everyone to see themselves in the space.
🎟 Your ticket price includes a drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices available)
Speakers:
Diana Studer, Architect AIBC, MRAIC, Iredale Architecture
Bridgitte Alomes, Founder and CEO, Natural Pod
Christine Weber, Principal, Kasian
