Join us for the sixth Persian Poetry Night, a gathering dedicated to exploring linguistic limitations in Persian poetry, with a special focus on women poets. In this session, Dr. Leila Sadeghi, PhD in Linguistics, writer, poet, and researcher, will speak about the ways language can shape, restrict, and reveal poetic expression in Persian poetry, especially in relation to the work of women poets. The poetry night will be followed by a screening of Our Brave Mama, a documentary by Bahman Farmanara about Simin Behbahani.
