Event Description

Experience the passion, intrigue, and heartbreak of Henry Purcell’s masterwork, Dido and Aeneas, performed by the UVic Baroque Collegium (BOMP) and the UVic Voice Ensemble. Performed on period instruments, this opera production highlights the clarity, intimacy, and expressive directness of Purcell’s music. The ensemble brings together UVic students, alumni, and faculty with emerging young professionals and members of the Pacific Baroque Orchestra. Join us for an engaging evening of Baroque opera performed with historical insight and collaborative energy.
