With Resonance DJs: ÆNNIÆ, RUNT, Scree Running GUEST ARTISTS: IHA and ephemeral objects IHA is the sonic alias of Apple Cabrera- sound artist, producer, DJ, and manager of imprint Naga. Drawing from cultural memory, dreams, and shifts in perception, they bring a childlike play into the stage, whether live or on the dance floor. Their productions and live sets range from atmospheric dub, clever and playful techno, to futuristic bass music. Since beginning their sonic journey in 2021, they have released singles on labels PPRZ, Weirdoes Inc, Bass Coast Music, and Wuji. They have been featured at festivals such as Active/Passive, Bass Coast, Wonderment, and Pachena Bay (BC); Future Forest (NB), ADE (AMS), Osmosis (PDX), Honcho (PA) and Ever Afters (SFO). ephemeral objects is the alias of Michelle La (she/her) who is an interdisciplinary artist, VJ, DJ, and producer based in Vancouver. True to her name, her creations carry this sense of ethereality, focusing on textures and organic forms, both ephemeral and suspended in time at once. ephemeral objects moves between dubwise atmospheres, textural grooves, and ambient introspection, with an affinity for deep, hypnotic, and experimental sounds. Her sets are both meditative and kinetic drawing from forward-thinking, underground producers to create immersive, narrative-driven experiences. Her DJ appearances include Bass Coast, Active/Passive, and Pachena Bay festivals. Her productions have been released on Wuji, SYS Sister Sounds, and Bass Coast Music. She has contributed mixes to platforms across the globe, including Electric Shapes, Shy People, Distant Signals, demonstrating her diverse range. As a VJ, she merges generative videos with real footage to create her own unique, audio-reactive and abstract style where rich colours, spanning the full spectrum, wash over the screen, striking the viewer’s mind with a strong image of the audio-visual journey at play. ⇧ ARTIST TALK This event is part of a hybrid series featuring a live audiovisual set and artist talk with i+eo prior to the club night.
