The Invisible Orange presents: ROYAL THUNDER with guests: THE GET AROUNDS and THE HAUSPLANTS. ROYAL THUNDER Second chances in music—as in life—are rare. In a gated ecosystem that is set up to prevent even first chances, getting a do- over hardly ever happens. Perhaps no one in 2023 appreciates that more than the members of ROYAL THUNDER. After losing a key member and eventually collapsing under the weight of excess, the beloved Georgia trio have reunited and returned with their first album in six years. THE GET AROUNDS The Get Arounds are a Vancouver, BC-based, female-fronted rock band known for their high-energy, 90s-style power-pop and punk-grit sound, often compared to bands like L7 or Blondie. Formed during the COVID-19 lockdown by vocalist Lana Ryma and guitarist Carman Lethbridge, the band released their debut album, I Wanna Live, featuring a raw, direct sound with themes of personal reflection and high-octane rock. The Get Arounds will be releasing their second album "Going Out Tonight" in early 2026. THE HAUSPLANTS The Hausplants are an independent trio from ‘Vancouver’ Canada. Formed by Iran-born Amir Alav (guitar), Mongolia-born Sondor Mendbayar (drums) and US-born Anna Zeleny (vocals/bass), the band crafts powerful soundscapes shaped by cultural hybridity and emotional depth. They weave poetic lyrics into music that is equal parts sun-soaked and macabre. ***Ages 19 and over***
