Bird Walk for kids of all ages! On Sunday, March 8, from 9–11 AM, RPBO educators will guide families through the beautiful Outerbridge Nature Park in Saanich. Together, we’ll look for colourful birds, listen for songs and calls, and discover the many small creatures that make this urban nature gem such a special place. Outerbridge Park—once known as the Shangri-La Bird and Nature Sanctuary—was lovingly created as a welcoming space for birds, wildlife, and people. Today, it continues that legacy as a perfect setting for young explorers and curious adults to connect with nature. This event is part of RPBO’s free, monthly guided bird walks, offered on the second Sunday of each month, and is specially designed to be engaging for children and families.
