We’ll begin with a short meditation to help you arrive and ground into the creative process. You’ll be introduced to the basics of kurinuki — a traditional Japanese carving technique where forms are created by hollowing out a solid block of clay. This process invites a more intuitive, tactile approach to making, resulting in a mug that feels deeply personal and one-of-a-kind. No prior experience is needed. $169 includes a fun and comprehensive hand-building ceramics workshop inspired by our natural surroundings and the traditional kurinuki method, your finished creation glazed and fired, a guided meditation AND a long table lunch & glass of cider!
