Join us for a Full Moon fire ceremony dedicated to speaking what is true.
In this space, we work with mantra, breath, sound, and fire ritual to support the clearing of the throat and the release of what has been unspoken – fear, restraint, and/or truth held inside.
We will invoke Vāc, the ancient Vedic/Yogic Goddess of sacred speech, mantra, and divine expression. She is the living intelligence of sound – the current through which thought becomes word, and truth becomes voice. (In later times, she is closely associated with Goddess Saraswati.)
Goddess Vāc is not simply “communication,” but the deeper force behind expression: clarity of speech, alignment between inner truth and outer voice, and the courage to speak from what is real.
Goddess VAC‘s blessings include:
Clarity of expression
Removal of blocks in speech and self-expression
Presence and integrity in voice
Alignment between inner knowing and spoken word
When the voice is blocked, it is not only speech that is held – it is truth, presence, and connection. Working with Goddess Vāc supports the release of what obstructs expression, so what is real can move through us with more ease and honesty.
What You’ll Experience:
Invocation of Vāc through ritual and practice
Full Moon fire ceremony for voice, clarity, and expression
Mantra and breathwork to support throat clearing and release
Fire offerings to let go of fear, suppression, and unspoken truth
Reflection on what is ready to be spoken
Practices to support authentic communication and presence
Prasad (sacred offering) to close and integrate Anointment of activated charcoal with sacred water from the Ganges River in India
If you’ve been holding something in, this is a place to bring it.
Come gather with us at the fire altar – bring your voice, exactly as it is.
This offering is rooted in the Vedic/Yogic lineage and Bhakti Yoga – and honours Satya’s ancestral connection to these sacred traditions
Background on Ceremony
In ceremony, we sit in circle, we hold our intention, we chant, we pray, we offer, we surrender. Together, we hold this charged space co-creatively. We invoke and commune with very subtle sacred energies – the deities (aka: spirits/goddess/Creator – or whatever you call Source). The fire of wisdom burns away all that does not serve. Ultimately, this holy fire transforms, purifies, cleanses and heals.
Using the agency of fire inside a copper vessel, and connecting with the biodynamic rhythm of Mother Earth while we chant – the Vedic Fire Ceremony serves as a direct portal to the deities. It is one of the most ancient forms of ritual in the world, originating from Satya’s ancestral land of India some 10,000 years ago. It was channelled by rishis and seers in the high Indian Himalayas. It serves as an altar to the Divine – and a space for healing, emotional purification, karmic cleansing, and deep transformation. It is a symbol of that which we are (Satya/Truth), and that which we are not (Mitya/not-Truth). It is a ceremony that re-patterns trauma, and a sacred space where we can let go of everything that is keeping us separate, including fear and attachment. ॐ
*This ceremony is also known as agni yajna, fire puja, and havan.
